Odlo - born out of a passion

The Swiss manufacturer of functional clothing and sports fashion Odlo Sports Group AG is an international company with Norwegian roots. The Norwegian company founder Odd Roar Lofterød was an enthusiastic sportsman: In 1935 he cycled from Oslo to Gibraltar and back, but he was also a keen cross-country skier. Lofterød did not find the underwear and sportswear of the time functional enough and therefore started producing his own sportswear for his sports activities. After all, he knew first-hand what functional clothes he needed by cross-country skiing, jogging or hiking. Today, Odlo's underwear and functional clothing cover the segments of running, cross-country skiing, alpine sports, outdoor, winter sports and Tec Shirts, kids clothing and accessories.
