The Hiker Pro by KATADYN is the ideal filter in the backcountry sector and the most widely sold microfilter in the U.S. outdoor market.
The Hiker Pro is small, weighs a mere 310 grams, and thanks to its large filter area delivers an outstanding pumping performance. It reliably eliminates bacteria, protozoa, cysts, algae, spores, and sediments from water. The filter is very easy to clean on trips thanks to its cleanable filter protector. The filter protector also appreciably extends the life of the 0.2 micron glassfiber filter cartridge. Its active carbon filling improves the taste of water and eliminates odors.
Installation and removal of the input and output hoses is child’s play, thanks to convenient Quick Connect fittings. The new Hiker Pro by KATADYN replaces the Hiker filter on the European market and is a compact and flexible equipment, ideally suited for use on short rambling tours or day trips. The filter has an easy and straightforward pump-action operation and the pre-filter is easy to clean.
The Hiker Pro by KATADYN is delivered completely with prefilter, removable filter protector, two quick connect hose sets, an Easy-Fill bottle adaptor (for typical wide-mouth bottles) and carry bag. For its market launch 2012 in Europe, KATADYN has packed the formerly gray-blue filter into a trendy black body.

Because of the relatively small factory inventories at outdoor clothing collections, we can not guarantee for constant availability of all parts of our online collection. For bulky goods we calculate the actual costs as surcharge fee for each product. As an example bulky goods are: Ski (with a length of more than 160 cm), bicycles, mountain bikes, and volume elements for climbing walls. Bulky goods can be recognized by an additional labeling in the product selection, indicating a shipping rate in the prefix, which will be added as an additional charge for the product in the cart. You never pay more than indicated in your shopping cart. Partial delivery causes no additional costs within EU countries and Switzerland; please enter a phone number where you are reachable during the day.
Orders are shipped only when all previous deliveries already have been paid.
