The MeraM. Shorts by MALOJA are relaxed cut bike and multisport shorts with high freedom of movement.
In the Himalayas, between Tibet and India, there is a country devoted to happiness: Bhutan. At the foot of the highest mountains of this "kingdom in the sky" is the village of Laya. There lives a people of yak nomads, who have preserved their own way of life and clothing style until today.
The MALOJA collection "Laya – Where the Mountains Are" is inspired by this mountain folk. Furthermore it is about Bhutan, a country where everything revolves around the happiness and contentment of its people. At some point in the 1970’s the fourth king stated that for his country it is not the Gross National Product that counts, but the Gross National Happiness.

- Venting zipper: The clothing is featured with additional venting. This means ventilation slits, perforated laser- cut inserts or the use of highly breathable Mesh material.
- Water repellent eco: The outer material has a durable water and dirt-repellent finish that allows rain and snow to roll of. The outer surface of the clothing is less sensitive against dirt and the breathability is not affected. All treatments used by MALOJA are #H01 ® #B04 and fulfill all necessary requirements regarding sustainability.
- Waist width regulation: Due to an integrated regulation system the waist size can be adjusted.
- 4-Way-Stretch: This fabric offers cross and lengthwise stretchability, thus provides perfect freedom of movement.
- Invisible Zipper: If closed, the zipper is invisible under the fabric. Thus, elaborate prints are not disrupted.
- Triple stitched: At critical seams, where extreme strain causes high abrasion, the clothing is triple stitched, thus high durability is guaranteed.
- Blend Stretch: Blend Stretch is a very elastic fabric made out of a combination of Nylon, Polyester and Spandex fibres. The content of Nylon fibres on the outer surface makes the material very robust. Polyester fibres on the reverse side of the fabric provide fast moisture transport outwards. Next to the many features the result of the combination is a unique blend effect.

Because of the relatively small factory inventories at outdoor clothing collections, we can not guarantee for constant availability of all parts of our online collection. For bulky goods we calculate the actual costs as surcharge fee for each product. You never pay more than indicated in your shopping cart. Orders are shipped only when all previous deliveries already have been paid.
