The Merino Competition Cool Short Sleeve M by ORTOVOX is made of Merino Cool and stands for the new cooling fiber cocktail made of Tencel® cellulose fiber and finest merino wool.
The natural fiber is made from sustainable eucalyptus wood and is produced in a particular environmental-friendly production methods in the Austrian Lenzing. The fiber mix boosts an ultra- comfortable fit, and its cooling effect. How does it work? The fiber provides refreshing while the fiber surface is hydrophilic. So you stay dry and comfortable and do not feel wet.
Keeping you cool when the going gets hot! Merino Competition Cool combines the naturally cooling Tencel® fiber with merino wool and polyamide in a 4-zone bodymapping construction. According to your body temperature, four different knit structures and material combinations are used that not only cool, but guarantee an ideal fit, freedom of movement and longevity.
The Merino Competition Cool Short Sleeve M by ORTOVOX has an athletic cut to get the highest levels of performance from the material. At the same time, it features outstanding wear comfort and super stretch properties. The Tencel® fiber has similar properties to merino wool in many respects (odor neutralizing, soft, easy to care for) and provides additional cooling properties, making the product suitable for summer use and perfect for more intense ski tours.
