The Zupo Set with the ski goggles Piney by ALPINA consists of the kids ski helmet "Zupo" and the ski goggles "Piney".

The children’s hardshell helmet Zupo, as the name implies, has a hard shell that provides protection in the event of impact. At the same time, the impact-absorbing EPS inside the helmet also protects the shell. This keeps the helmet protected from damage even during transport, such as on the ski shuttle. Soft ears and a warming neck protector provide maximum comfort. If the helmet gets too hot on warm ski days, fresh air can be supplied to it through an intelligent ventilation system. The technical look, the high-quality matt lacquer and the hardshell construction make the Zupo by ALPINA a unique children’s ski helmet: stylish and safe.

In the set with the ski goggles ALPINA Piney, beginner skiers are optimally protected. The smooth, soft frame with comfortable foam padding ensures a high degree of comfort when wearing. At the same time, excellent ventilation of the interior is ensured thanks to the active climate management through openings in the frame. The Fogstop coating prevents the lens from fogging up. As well as a clear view, the ALPINA Piney also provides contrast enhancement: the Hicon technology sharpens contours and thus improves perception of your surroundings. This means that young skiers can always concentrate on the essentials: honing the perfect swing and having fun skiing.

Helmet "Zupo":

• Ceramic Shell: All ALPINA helmets manufactured using the inmold process are fitted with a robust ceramic shell. A polycarbonate plate is stretched under intense heat onto the shape of the helmet in the making and pressed onto the Hi-EPS body under high pressure and thermally bonded to it. The Ceramic shell is characterized by several qualities: It is impact- and scratch-resistant, UV-stable and antistatic
• Ergomatic: A strap buckle with a red push button and multi-step automatic locking mechanism. Ergomatic can be operated with one hand - you can loosen the strap on the way up the mountain and tighten it for downhill - and in a fall the locking mechanism cannot open automatically
• Hard Shell: Hardshell helmets consist of a Hi-EPS core and an impact-resistant outer shell made of ABS or polycarbonate. This combination ensures maximum safety
• Hi-EPS: The inner shell of all ALPINA helmets is made of Hi-EPS (High Expanded Polystyrene). The material has microscopically small air chambers that absorb the forces acting on the helmet in the event of an impact. Hi-EPS provides optimum protection and at the same time allows for extra-thin helmet wall as well as narrow helmet shapes
• Run System Ergo Snow: The Run System enables all ALPINA helmets to adjust to a custom size by using an easy-to-move dial. ALPINA relies on the tried-and-#C03 Run System Classic for its ski helmets, a flexible head adjustment system with a central dial. A twist mechanism allows the headband to be adjusted more loosely or more tightly. The large dial is equipped with a non-slip two-component mix and can be operated perfectly with ski gloves
• Venting System: Air vents ensure optimum air conditioning, air circulation and effectively prevent heat accumulation inside the helmet
• Y-Clip: A helmet can only provide the best possible protection if it remains in the optimum position in the event of an impact. The adjustment and fixing of the two straps under the ear plays a decisive role. The Y-clip system ensures a millimetre-accurate adjustment - in a matter of seconds

• 100% UV-A, -B, -C protection: All ALPINA lenses provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection
• Fogstop: All ALPINA ski goggles have a Fogstop coating. This is not smooth but rough - on a microscopic level. This prevents moisture from forming a closed layer. So the lens doesn’t fog up and the view remains clear
• Singleflex: Singleflex lenses are made of break-proof polycarbonate. They provide 100% UV-A-, -B-, -C-protection and thus guarantee excellent eye protection. The hard (non-reflective) coating of the lens is extremely robust and scratch-resistant. Fogstop prevents fogging and ensures a clear view
• Venting Frame: With a Venting frame, openings are integrated in the frame to ensure outstanding ventilation of the interior. This prevents the lenses from fogging. The air flow is indirect so that there is no draught on the eyes
• Cylindrical Lens: Cylindrical lenses allow a flat, straight-line goggle construction. Compared to a spherical lens, the distance to the eyes is smaller. Thermoblock and Fogstop effectively prevent icing or fogging of the glasses and ensure a clear view
